Benteler: E‑Learning for Employee Development

In collaboration with one of our creative partners, we localized multiple e-learning courses for the industrial company Benteler in 7 languages. The content ranged from competency development and performance and talent management to the newly introduced SAP software. With over 30,000 employees worldwide, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and precision in the localization process was essential.

Overview:

As a global automotive supplier with over 30,000 employees, Benteler relies on innovative training solutions to nurture talent and optimize processes. From 2014 until the completion of our joint projects, we supported Benteler in localizing numerous e‑learning courses in 7 languages, including Chinese, English, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Swedish, and Czech. The content ranged from competency development and performance management to the rollout of new SAP software.

Challenge and Solution:

In the automotive industry, precision and clarity are crucial—especially for training materials designed for a global audience. Our task was to localize the content in a way that was linguistically and culturally tailored to the target markets, without losing sight of the technical complexity:
